Comments OffThe Japanese Spider Crab came from the family of large group of arthropods. It is a crab although it is called a spider actually its not. It just looks like a spider but its a giant crab and it is actually the Biggest Crab in the World.
Did you also know that the Japanese Spider Crab is a treat to the Japanese? They are generally eaten salted and steamed. In cooking Japanese spider crab you have to cook them alive but before doing the cooking, its best to put them in ice to slow down their metabolism which will put them into sleep. Get ready the brine which is as salty as sea water, boil it and then put the crabs steam it for almost 25 minutes. When the time is up, take the crabs out t from fire and leave to cool before serving.
You can make sauce for it to dip on, just slice some lemon and squeeze its juice in a sauce pan then mix it with ginger and put a little sugar on it.
