Charts for Apple and Andriod Devices

Maretron has taken N2KView to new heights. The original design is for you to be able to monitor and control your vessel from your computer or laptop on and off the vessel. Now, there is an app for both Apple and Andriod users to monitor and control the NMEA 2000 parameters of your boat remotely. This is iPhone/iPod/iPad and Andriod device app that uses the wi-fi or 3G access to tap into your system. The Andriod device allows you the same capabilities you have as if you are running it on your laptop and runs on Adobe AIR. The iPhone app also allows you same access to your vessel but has a few limitations. There is a limit on the number of alerts that you can set through the device, but you can set it up from your laptop server and be alerted through a different station or be sent to you as a text message even when the app is not running. The apps are free but you will need separate licence for every device you add to your server.
